Relaxed. You sit on the back of the motorbike between stops, the village roads are flat and quiet, and each stop is a short visit inside a family workshop. The only walking is a few minutes on dirt paths, which can be muddy after rain.
Yes. The pace is gentle and the craft families love showing children how things are made. For toddlers and small children I usually suggest the fishing boat instead of the basket boat: the basket-boat area is loud and busy, and little ones tend to enjoy watching the lift-net fishing more. Tell me your children's ages when you message and I'll shape the day around them.

Only if you want to drive. Most guests ride as passengers behind a local driver, which needs no licence and leaves you free to look around. To drive yourself in Vietnam you need your home motorbike licence plus an International Driving Permit, and travel insurance that covers riding. Let me know which you prefer before the day.
